“The Lord is my Shepherd”
– is the starting of Psalms 23, a psalm of David who knew about sheep and knew His Lord.
Jesus went to His sheep, He calls them by name and they answer Him. He uses the example of sheep to teach us about our relationship with Him in John 10:27 and Acts 2:39.
I love how God uses the simple, everyday things we are familiar with to teach us more about Himself.
God is very approachable because we can come to Him through Christ. He reminds of this and strongly encourages us to come to Him with confidence and assurance in Hebrews 4:16.
Because God is personable and intimately involved in our lives, He wants us to know Him and to know His will for our lives. He’s come to give us life, a full life in Christ, we’re reminded in John 10:10. So, personally, this makes each day exciting and fun. God is so good!!! It’s so wonderful to know God, to know Jesus. All who want Him, He calls, ‘Come’

“He leads me beside quiet waters”
“Junto a aguas de reposo me pastoreara.”
“He restores my soul”
“Confortara me alma;”
“He guides me in paths of righteousness of His name’s sake”
“Me guiara por sendas de justicia por amor de su nombre.”
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,”
“Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte,”
“I will fear no evil, for You are with me.”
“No temere mal alguno, porque Tu estaras conmigo;”
“Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
“Tu vara y Tu caydo me infundiran aliento.”
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”
“Aderezas mesa delante de mi en presencia de mis angustiadores;”
“You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
“Unges mi cabez con aceite; mi copa esta rebosando.”
“Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,”
“Ciertamente el bien y la misericordia me seguiran todos los dias de mi vida,”
“And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”
“Y en la casa de Jehova morare por largos dias.”
