PRAYERS FOR OUR COUNTRIES LEADERS:
My Heavenly Father;
Thank YOU for YOUR love and faithfulness. YOU are Lord over all and all things are in YOUR hands. YOU are Sovereign, All Powerful and Almighty God. YOU are patient and kind, not giving us what we deserve but lavishing us with YOUR mercy and grace that we may turn to YOU with all our heart.
We come to YOU in faith asking for YOUR work to be accomplished in and through our new president elect Obama.
We put our faith and trust in YOU and ask for YOUR wisdom and guidance to be upon the hearts of our leaders and the direction of our country.
JESUS, YOUR Name is above all names, YOU are the KING Who is above all kings, YOU are the LORD Who is above all lords.
Before YOU all people and nations stand or fall. YOUR loving hand of grace is extended to all who will receive YOU. YOU are faithful to YOUR word and YOU do not change.
Heavenly Father, we look to YOU and pray our president elect Obama and the leadership in our great nation through his term of office.
We ask that YOU not allow evil to rest in the hearts of those making decisions that will affect Israel and all of YOUR people.
We pray for the peace and protection of Israel and of all YOUR people.
Please help president elect Obama to truly know YOU and be led by YOUR Holy Spirit.
May the words he has spoken to the public of his faith in YOU find deep root in his heart to bear fruit for YOUR glory.
Please visit him in the quietness of his soul and draw him to YOURSELF to know the great responsibility he has before YOU, first and foremost.
May president elect Obama walk in the fear of the Lord and may he see his need to seek to please YOU and not to lean upon his own understanding or the wisdom and influences of the world.
Please surround president elect Obama with God-fearing men and women.
Please guide YOUR people to pray and come together in love and unity with prayers for our leaders in our nation and all over the world, according to YOUR will.
We put our hope and trust in YOU, not in what we see, feel or think. Though we are weak, yet YOU are strong. Because of our humanity, we can be moved, but YOU are unmovable – YOU ARE GOD ALMIGHTY!
YOU are THE SOLID ROCK upon which our once Godly nation once began.
YOU are still God and YOU are still in control so that we can boldly say, IN GOD WE TRUST!
Thank YOU, Heavenly Father for hearing our prayers and for reminding us to hold up our leaders before YOU in prayer.
In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen ~
